CHARLOTTE WHEELER

Our friend in the Spotlight this month is Charlotte Renee Wheeler. Charlotte just celebrated her 7th birthday on July 11th. This year she decided to ask her friends to bring gifts for charity that she would donate to Yale Children’s Toy Closet and the Care and Share Association of East Lyme. Her idea was a big hit and her friends brought many beautiful gifts for donation. Charlotte will be attending 2nd grade in September and enjoys coloring, reading and writing while in school. She has been reading the Laura Ingalls Wilder series and had fun touring the Ingalls homestead while visiting South Dakota last month. In her free time, she enjoys taking gymnastics and swimming lessons.
Being a Brownie and playing tag or hide-n-seek with her little brother, Nathan, also fills her days! Her favorite part of coming to Road Church is Sunday School class and reciting the Gloria Patri out loud which she has been able to do since the age of 3! She also leads the Sunday School class in our prayer before snack time. Keep up the good work, Charlotte, and Congratulations from your Road Church family!
