Message from Rev Lake

Dear Friends:

  As Pastor of the First Congregational Church of Stonington or “Road Church”, as we are often called, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our Worship Family.

  It is our hope that this information may be of service to you as you look for a special place to worship God.

  As with all Congregational Churches, we are, by definition, autonomous. That is to say that we are self-governing. We do, however, share with other Churches and organizations in furthering the cause of Christianity but we make all our decisions based on our Church Family needs.

  We are a warm, friendly, Christ-centered Church. We have a variety of programs that we assess routinely to make sure that they meet our needs. We also reach outside our Church with our active missions programs.

  Please spend a moment or two perusing the information contained on our web site. I, or any member of our Church, would be delighted to share our love of “Road Church” with you or answer any questions you might have.
